Is fireplace smoke a particle?#

The cosy smell that survives the evening is partly gas-phase: unrated, unnumbered, and honestly beyond the spec sheet.

Carbon helps with the smell, carrying no comparable number; the particle figures remain the only comparison between brands.

What sizing means here#

Fires are episodic, so the machine works in bursts: run it during the evening and after, and compare quiet units if the fire and the film share an evening.

Limits and honest caveats#
